Day 1 - Arrival Reykjavík. On the way to Reykjavík visit The Bridge Between Continents, the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates. Then visit the Brimketill Lava Pool and experience how the Atlantic waves crash into this natural lava rock pool. Witness steaming vents and bubbling mud pots in Krísuvík before driving along the coast towards Selfoss.
Day 2
- Golden Circle. Drive through Laugarvatn on the way to Gullfoss and Geysir where you will marvel at the golden waterfall and erupting hot springs. Drive through quaint towns nestled in scenic countryside. Don´t miss out walking behind the waterfall Seljalandsfoss and discover the hidden gem Gljúfrabúi. Experience feeling the mist of the waterfall Skógarfoss before you visit the dramatic cliffs and sand beaches Dyrhólaey and Reynisfjara.
Day 3
- Borgarfjörður. Walk through the history at the site of Iceland´s ancient parliament, a UNESCO site where tectonic plates meet. Then Drive to Borgarfjörður region and visit Europe´s most powerful hot spring, Deildartunguhver. Explore Reykholt, home of medieval scholar Snorri Sturluson. See the unique waterfalls Hraunfossar and Barnafoss.
Day 4 - Snæfellsnes. Visit the charming town of Stykkishólmur. A charming fishing town with colorful houses and scenic harbor. Stop at Kirkjufell, Iceland’s most photographed mountain, and the nearby Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall. Explore the dramatic cliffs and lava formations at Hellnar and Arnarstapi. Visit Búðarkirkja, a striking black church in lava field near Búðir.
Day 5 - Reykjavík. Visit the basalt cliffs Gerduberg, a geological preview of Iceland´s volcanic nature. Visit Borgarnes, a charming town on the way to Reykavík. Explore the highlights of Reykjavik like Hallgrímskirkja, Harpa Concert Hall, The harbor, the Parliament, Town hall and many more. At the end of the day enjoy a relaxed dipp into the Blue Lagoon
